Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, self-tanning products, and sun tanning for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment. Refrain from using exfoliating active ingredients on the treatment area for at least 3 days before your appointment. Avoid photosensitizing medications, like antibiotics, for at least 10 days before treatment.
Avoid direct sun exposure and apply SPF to treated areas to protect from sun damage. If your skin feels sensitive after the appointment, use aloe vera gel or an ice pack to soothe the area. You can shave between appointments as needed.
